How come the Sim Modder won't appear when i use the cheat in Sims 2?

every simmer knows the boolprop cheat. The problem is, when i click the sim modder from the cheat list, no baby/baby doll shows up. PLEASE HELP!! Do you need any expansion packs? I only have Sims 2 Apartment Life ™
