Ok so I have this best friend that I've fallen so hard for. It all started off with him texting me randomly one day, and from then on we became best friends and inseparable. We hooked up a couple of times in the beginning of the friendship, and I've had a huge crush on him from the start and he's known this. He used to stay at my house until 3 in the morning just sitting on my couch holding my hand watching movies sometimes. Ask anyone who sees us whether they know us or not and they automatically assume we're a couple. Our friends say we're like a married couple. We used to flirt constantly when we first met, then for a couple months it simmered down because of some drama we were going through with our friend, who made up all these rumors to get him not to want to be my friend. He wont even come over my house anymore. Everything got back to normal kind of and we're best friends again. The flirting is starting to come back. My friend tells me that he cant even have a conversation with him because indirectly everything the guy that i like talks about is me. He's always commenting on what I wear, but in weird ways. He's always texting me when he's free to see what I'm doing, and even though he lives almost an hour away we hangout and talk everyday. The only weird thing about all this is that he is always telling us he wants a girlfriend, and he cant find one, that I should find one. It seems like he hits on a lot of girls, but I've come to realize, this is just his personality. (this has all happened over about a 8 month period) ... it's like i want to scream that i'm right here! do u think he only likes me as a best friend or likes me as more but doesnt want to ruin the friendship?

I think it's good overall. But I'll be honest, it could use a little work! (: since you just wrote it I'm sure that once who edit it it will turn out better. What I would suggest is changing the last sentence, "knowing where to go", because right before the person was still trying to figure out where the "Fallen" was. So maybe you could mess with it a little to either make it clearer to the audience that the person knew exactly where the light had fallen, or instead of saying she/he knew where to go, make it so that they knew the "general area" of where it had fallen. Other than that, I just saw some things that I'm sure you will fix yourself! All in all I thought it was good! Hope this helps!

I always fight with my family because it bothers me that my sister abuses the system.?

My sister is 23 and she has two kids because she decided when she was 20 that having a child was a good decision despite being financially unstable, not to mention with a man who had no job. Now three years later she works a lousy two days a week at a nursing home doing CNA work while her boyfriend works late afternoons/nights at a fruit packaging plant making minimum wage. She just got a new job at a coffee shop (I have no idea why considering she would make more money if she picked up hours at her job where she makes more then minimum wage.. oh wait I do because she's freaking lazy) and is getting five days a free daycare from the state. She also receives WIC benefits and food stamps. It really really pisses me off. Here I am 19 years old in college paying out of my *** to be there and I can't even find a minimum wage job because of people like her who go out of there way to get a second job making low wages so they can get free money from the government. Never the less I'm a college student and she's a high school dropout! Whenever I bring it up to my family they get mad and say I'm a *****. It also really bothers me that she's putting my niece and nephew in daycare so many times a week, I don't think she realizes that she's giving up time with them. Time that she will never be able to get back! It makes me feel like she doesn't care to be around her children! I also get really mad because in the future, now that I've worked my *** off and spent tons of money to get a degree, I probably won't be able to afford to have a child because I'll be paying for everything, while she got it all free because she made a shitty life decision. Am I wrong for thinking this way because my entire family makes me feel that way. I feel like the government makes teenage girls feel like it's okay to have a child because there going to get it all for free anyway!

My employer will not sign a notary doc. for my appartment application? what do i do?

I'm moving out for my first time with my fiance and baby boy to our own apartments. I work in a tattoo shop and I am paid 50% of the total for the tattoo I do and the other 50% to the shop. I turned in my receipts from all my customers within the last 3 months and the apartment manager still needs a "proof of employment" document signed by me, with the shops information and stamped by the notary also stating the receipts are signed from my clients that I tattooed. So I went down to the shop and explained to them the whole situation that I would need them to sign the document stating what I just said. She told me she wouldn't want to because she doesn't want to get involved with legal stuff. Im pretty sure she's not paying taxes and that's the reason she doesn't want to sign the document for me. Should I just tell the apartment manager the situation or do I even need their signature if I go through a notary? Disconnect your new screen and see if laptop boots. If so try old screen again. This will narrow down the problem. If neither screen allows boot up it is likely that you have disturbed a connector, just open up and detach and re-attach everything that plugs in. Best temp and time to cook Hamburger Helper rice?

I can cook any rice real well, but when it comes to those par boiled, all-in-one, pan-cooked meals with rice I cannot seem to cook it within the requested time frame. Relocation Assistance?

I am just wondering.....if you can no longer afford the area you are living in I am aware that there are services, food stamps, welfare etc... But, are there any programs that will assist you with relocation so that you can relocate to a more affordable area to avoid the need for food stamps and welfare? I am about to be 18, I have a 2 year old son, and I want to move out. How can I do this?

I found a 2 bedroom apartment for $675 a month. I did the math and if I found a job that paid minimum wage and I work 8 hours a week i'd make $1152 a month. I added up how much food, water and electric bill with the rent. I would have to pay about $1080 a month. I would have $72 left over for assentials, but I would also get $185 a month TANF a month maybe more. So that gives me a little extra :) I'm also almost positive that I would get food stamps. I dont have to pay a cell phone bill because i'm on my dads plan. The goverment is helping me with day care so I only have to pay like $15 a month for day care. Crumbled Bay Leaf OK to eat?

I have a pre-seasoned corned beef brisket simmering. I had intended to add veggies and cabbage and serve as a soup. HOWEVER, I noticed when adding the spice pack that the bay leaves had been crushed into bits the size of a pencil eraser head or smaller. Could I take my brothers children if they are in an unsafe situation?

I hope this is not too all over the place. So my brother and his wife split up recently and their children ages 8,7,5,4 live with their mother, who has been snorting bath salts, drinking, not feeding the kids, not providing a safe place for the kids. Their dad (my brother) has no job, is living with his friends who do drugs and drink all day long, has no way to provide a safe place for them to live. He is not patient with them and has a bad temper. The mother uses her kids a a pawn to stay on her section 8 housing, food stamps and other welfare. What is this sharp pain I feel in my stomach?

For the past 3 days I have had sharp pains going through my stomach. They are on and off, sometimes they last a few minutes sometimes hours. I have no clue where they are coming from. It all started 3 daya ago. I used the bathroom and when I got finished I began feeling these sharp pains in my stomach. Felt like they were coming from my the bottom of my private area to the top of my stomach. Every time I moved the pain got sharper. Yesterday I got off work and ordered some chinese food. I had a small plate, but I only ate half of what I ordered. Soon as I finished the pains came back. Today I came home from school took a shower and made me some vegetable soup with no meat because I was afraid that was the reason my stomach had been hurting so bad. While my soup was simmering I took a nap. I set my alarm for 1 hour 15 minutes before my alarm went off for me to get up the sharp pains woke me up out of my sleep. About 2 hours went by and then tthey just stopped completely. I ate a little bit of soup and felt fine. What is going on? What could be the cause of these pains? Is it what Im eating? Someone said it was gas and bloating. I do have really bad attacks of gas on my stomach but never so severe.I can usually drink ginger ale or take a gas x and it disappears. It really depends if you want to get paid for it. Poetry is highly subjective. One person can think it's terrible and another could think you're the next Sylvia Plath. Some magazines are selective while others are not. However, even if you're one of the best poets today you'll still probably not get paid well. Money is in books and even then it's difficult to succeed. Sorry to be a downer. The point is you should write because you like it and write because you want to share with others regardless of payment. Good Luck.

Yes and in a way I think it was better they had no time to worry about petty thing and no time to get depressed and no time to waste. I come from a family of farmers my dad was the first going back 5 generations - (far as I could google my ancestry) that did not end up being a farmer. My great grandmother married into a pentecostal clan she grew up Amish Mennonite and had been that way for at least 4 generations before her. They were up when the sun came up working all day in the fields wives taking care of the home and cooking all the meals an not to mention all those kids running around. By the time you hit 5 you were considerably contributing to the family.

The bag looks really cute, but I'd go with black. Since black is a neutral color and it would go with any outfit you wear. As for the watch, I actually really like both, they look really cute as well, but I'd go with the second one, and silver. Because silver has the same story with black, so if you wear pink for a day at school for example, both of those can match up really well, but you can go for the red one too if you want, your choices. Just saying my opinion. :)

How do you BBQ "fall off the bone" spare ribs?

I've tried several ways, been online for suggertions, and still haven't achieved the fall off the bone tenderness. I've tried boiling, not boiling, high temp, low temp, and still nothing. Today, by suggestion, I tried to simmer them on the stove in 4 parts water, 1 part apple cider vinegar, and liquid smoke for 90 minutes. Then I BBQ'ed them at 200-225 degrees for 4 hours, turning them once. Then I BBQ'ed them in 1\4" of apple cider for 1 hour per side. Again, basteing with liquid smoke to taste. The last 1\2 hour, I put on my favorite Baby Rays sauce. I had the best tasting fat that I ever had in my life. Barely any flavor was in the meat, although the BBQ sauce helped that. But after all of that slow cooking, it wasn't close to fall off the bone. Anyone got a new suggestion/recipe to get to fall off the bone tenderness and retain the flavor in the meat? Thanks

Well let's see... assuming near normal functioning and a reasonable amount of time to practice, I'd suggest starting with really simple but fun stuff, say, something Suzuki book one-ish or two-ish. Let him loiter in that for a good long time (at least a few weeks!) before you start the really hard "renovation" work. Explain to him that just because it's not intellectually demanding doesn't mean that it's not helping him and that it takes time for the body to get used to playing again after so long. Also, instead of giving schradiek or sevcik to do, why not simple pieces of music that do the same thing? Above all, explain to him that there's plenty of time and that this is like renovating a house- you don't just start throwing up wallboard and randomly painting!

Women, what is good relationship advice for my situation?

So there is this girl I have been trying to get with and when I asked her out yesterday she said no. What I am trying to figure out is why and what to do next. Just to give you some background information, we practically act like boyfriend and girlfriend already. She then proceeds to tell me that she wants to be single and that she did not mean to lead me on which is total bullshit. Then she went on to say that she should stop planning things. Then when I tell her I cared about her she started crying. Will dying my top a second time make it darker?

I dyed my halter top today, it is 100% polyester so I used polyester dye (idye poly) and the top was originally bright blue (think of the color of a new wal mart vest lol) and I wanted to dye it black and i followed all the instructions (i dyed it in a pot on the stovetop, not the washing machine and i let it simmer for an hour while stirring). however sadly it resulted in only being a darker blue, almost a navy blue. Will Dying it a second time get it closer to black or will it likely just make it a darker blue?

What did i do wrong to make my chilli look like this?

Pulled pork ahead of time?

so were having a family cabin weekend and im responsible for lunch on saturday. now,i have made my pulled pork there before,but,i was wondering if i could cook the pork beforehand and shred it. then just bring my slow cooker,the shredded pork and the sauce along and let it simmer in the slow cooker for a while. My mom just lost her job. What should I do?

My mom has been working at Bank of America for 14 years. She has gotten numerous award for her attendance and as well as how hard she worked. Recently there has been an incident that caused her to get introuble and it ended with her getting fired. But what seemed so fishy to me was that they didn't give her no papers after she got fired. Why do people only see what they want to see?

I live in a community with a large Hispanic population. If I go to my bank or my favorite supermarket, I'm as likely to hear Spanish as English. Because there is a demand for foods common to Mexican cuisine, my supermarket carries a lot of those type of foods. Consequently, many people, originally from Mexico shop there. My question is, why do people, mostly white Anglos, including some of my in-laws, say that they hate going into the store and hearing people speaking Spanish and watching a bunch of grubby Mexicans buying junk food with food stamps? That is not what I see because that is not the way it is. I see mostly ladies with clean young children, the little girls with ribbons in their hair. Yes, occasionally a little boy might kick a soccer ball in my direction. Good God young boys, and girls, are supposed to run and jump and kick an throw balls. Because I'm nosey, I look in their carts in the checkout line and I see fruits and vegetables. They normally pay with cash or credit cards. Why are there mostly young children? I want to know,did anybody else not get their food stamps after a redetermination and what to do to get them?

I was sent a letter for redetermination by DHS and bring in the information my caseworker asked for. Then a week before my next month food stamps was to come in I receieved another letter of deny for not turning in all requested information. I'm confused, so I called only to get no reply. Two days later, another letter came asking for new additional information and docums. So I bring them to the office and ask to see the caseworker which they tell me can't be seen and the information I brought would be given to him. Come time for my food stamps on the 1st and there is nothing on my card. I go up there again to see this caseworker once again but again I am turn around by them telling me he is too busy and all the cases are backed up so I must wait. Now here it is a month later on the 1st and still I don't have any food stamps. What the hell is going on? I am told by other people that they too are going through this.Can anyone tell me have you had this problem or what can I do about this?

So there is this girl I have been trying to get with and when I asked her out yesterday she said no. What I am trying to figure out is why and what to do next. Just to give you some background information, we practically act like boyfriend and girlfriend already. We hold hands, kiss, have sex, cuddle, exercise together, go on dates, etc. When I asked her out and she said no, I told her I didn't understand what the difference was with what we were doing already and she went into this shpeel about she did not want to fall in love again because she did not want to get hurt and that all the guys she is with end up leaving her after sleeping with her. I think her past relationships screwed her up because she had a physically abusive first one and then a cheating second one and loved them both and got her heart broken. She has had a lot of boyfriends but these are the two that she considers serious relationships. She knew I liked her and went on a second date after I told her. She then proceeds to tell me that she wants to be single and that she did not mean to lead me on which is total bullshit. Then she went on to say that she should stop planning things. Then when I tell her I cared about her she started crying. I have not talked to her since and don't know if I should contact her, wait and let things simmer down, forget about it and act like nothing ever happened, face it head on and try and convince her, see what happens, etc. I am really at a loss at how to interpret this and what my next move should be. How do I stop chicken breast from drying out in a Casserole?

I usually use chicken thighs when I cook, but I am on a diet and have switched to breasts instead... but... they always seem to be dry when I use them in casseroles or simmered in sauce. I went to a fair last night and had the most amazing chicken and mushroom casserole, and the breasts were so succulent and juicy! What am I doing wrong?? I usually brown the chicken a little, then add the sauces and simmer on low. I have tried decreasing the cooking time, but I still end up with dry breasts and a sauce that is too runny. Thanks for any advice!
